AMAFE FORMATIONS

Department of Employment and Training

AMAFE's Employment and Training Department manages projects that are completely free and open year-round. The first project was incorporated as a service within the Association in 2011 and continues uninterruptedly today. The purpose of these projects is to provide guidance, support, skills, training, and the experience necessary for participants to access or maintain employment, tailored to their needs and with the same opportunities as anyone else in a normalized environment.

We serve people with a mental health diagnosis who, despite having the motivation and autonomy necessary to perform a specific job, are facing or at risk of social and occupational exclusion.

Job placement and job retention are the last step in a person's full recovery.

Job Placement Support Service (SAIL)

AMAFE's Job Placement Support Service promotes the employment of people with disabilities due to mental health issues, facilitating access to appropriate, quality employment opportunities and reducing barriers and inequalities in the labor market. It also fosters training and skills development by offering occupational training programs and pre-employment workshops that enable participants to acquire and improve the skills necessary for job placement.

This project is 40% co-financed by the European Union.

Employment Maintenance Support Service (SAME)

The Job Maintenance Support Service seeks to facilitate the maintenance and/or improvement of employment for people with disabilities resulting from a mental health problem who need to overcome certain difficulties in performing their jobs.

In addition, it promotes the development of job skills and competencies for people with mental health problems who participate in the project, providing personalized support to each participant in their process of maintaining employment through mentoring and support activities.

This project is 40% co-financed by the European Union.
