Department of Employment and Training
AMAFE's Employment and Training Department manages projects that are completely free and open year-round.
The first was incorporated as a service within the Association in 2011 and continues uninterrupted today.
The purpose of these operations is to provide guidance, support, skills, training, and the experience necessary for participants to access or maintain employment, tailored to their needs and with the same opportunities as anyone else in a normal setting.
We serve people with a mental health diagnosis who, despite having the motivation and autonomy necessary to perform a specific job, are facing or at risk of social and occupational exclusion.
What do we do in THE EMPLOYMENT DEPARTMENT?
- We offer tailored workshops and training to improve employability.
- Individual appointments with specialized follow-up.
- We develop social and interpersonal skills, both in and outside the workplace.
- We maintain communication during the adaptation to the workplace.
- We ensure social and labor inclusion.
