AMAFE, together with the Public Animation School of the Community of Madrid, launches this training aimed at students and professionals between 18 and 35 years old focused on intervention in first outbreaks and schizophrenia. The course, which is completely free, is will take place from October 7 to December 16 and will have a total of 70.5 hours, of which 40.5 will be teaching (Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.), which will be delivered face-to-face . The remaining 30 hours will be allocated to spaces for debate and individual monitoring. It also has the collaboration of Janssen.
COMPLETE COURSE PROGRAM:
October 7: Presentation and opening of the course (3 hours)
October 14th: Psychosis and schizophrenia: basic concepts, symptoms and signs. Self-care in professional practice (5 hours).
October 21: Psychological intervention in psychosis and schizophrenia. First person experience (5 hours).
October 28 : Importance of occupation. Intervene from occupational therapy (5 hours).
November 4th: Stigma and self-stigma. Rebuild the positive image through leisure and the performance of activities. First-person experiences (5 hours).
November 11th: family intervention. Important element in the integral intervention (5 hours).
November 18th: Mental health care network and help for people with a diagnosis and their families (5 hours).
November 25: Avoid biographical rupture: Importance of the training and professional itinerary (5 hours).
December 2: Perspective of people with diagnosis and relatives. Exchange of experiences in a group of spokespersons for the Association (5 hours).
December 16: Final exam. Exhibition of group works. Satisfaction and balance of the course (5 hours)
The training is certified by the Public Animation School of the Community of Madrid and subsidized by the Department of Family, Youth and Social Policy of the Community of Madrid.
